VBS CURRICULUM
TREASURED: Discovering You're Priceless to God
This year we will be using GROUP Publishing's "Treasured" VBS. With new relaxed guidelines coming out from the CDC and from various denominations, we are aware that for children under 12 yrs of age, who are still not eligible for vaccinations, as a church, we need to wisely decide how we will move ahead with our summer programs. This year, many of our churches are still opting for Virtual VBS while others are ready to do a hybrid program of both Virtual and In- Person. However your church will decide, we are here to offer help.

CMI directors will be putting together the following so that you can offer this online VBS program for your churches. If you decide to do In-Person or a hybrid VBS then you can also use our digital resources if you have limited volunteers to serve this year. Below is a sample of a 5 week/5 days VBS, you can customize the resources to meet your church's needs.

1. Sunday Worship
It will be 30-45 minutes in length and will include a full Sunday Children's family worship with songs, theme, key verses, and message. Each Sunday for 5 weeks, we will introduce the new theme for the week.
2. Daily 20 minute VBS Stations.
Each day, we will offer 1 station/day that your children and parents can do together at home. The materials list is below.
3. Customizable for your church
As a church, you can decide to do everything in 1 week or do it for a duration of 5 weeks. Our suggestion is to do the 5 week option, that way, you have 5 Sundays of worship and it is not over burdensome for parents. Just 20mins / day.
